As a decorative artisan, there is an increasing demand for cabinetry finishing. Learn the latest techniques to increase your service offering by finishing cabinets, medallions, doors, and trim. The emphasis of this training is on today's "sellable" finishes....what sells and how to sell it. In this workshop you will expand your finishing business into the aggressively growing custom cabinetry market. Practical comprehensive information on each finish selection, surface preparation, project management, bidding, and installation is provided. Students will work with a variety of Modern Masters materials. Featured techniques include mixing custom glazes and stains, adapting textures to wood surfaces, and using texture to create unique custom pieces for your clientele. You will leave this class with lots of unique samples and a detailed reference and sample notebook.
