A Symphony of Metallics: Metallic Plaster Intense

The class that everyone is talking about! Are you ready for a stunning portfolio of never before seen finishes? This decorative architectural trowel-on coating produces beautiful natural reflective stone patterns. Unsurpassed in its ease of use, this revolutionary product will be used to produce a wide variety of both matte and high sheen dimensional finishes as well as stunning combinations of highs and lows. Although Modern Masters Metallic Plaster has the properties of plaster, it is color-shifting and is soft and buttery to the touch. There are 50 premixed colors which when combined make the color possibilities endless. Class Curriculum includes a variety of Metallic Plasters techniques in combination with other Modern Masters products used to impart texture to and over glaze the Metallic Plaster including: Stenciling with plaster, foils, metallics, glazing colors, wildfire, reactives, and glass beads. Glamorous Glass Beads Workshop

Discover refined elegance using glass beads as a medium. This one day workshop explores a variety of ways that the gel medium can be used. Cabinetry Intense Workshop

As a decorative artisan, there is an increasing demand for cabinetry finishing. Learn the latest techniques to increase your service offering by finishing cabinets, medallions, doors, and trim. The emphasis of this training is on today's "sellable" finishes....what sells and how to sell it. In this workshop you will expand your finishing business into the aggressively growing custom cabinetry market. Practical comprehensive information on each finish selection, surface preparation, project management, bidding, and installation is provided. Students will work with a variety of Modern Masters materials. Featured techniques include mixing custom glazes and stains, adapting textures to wood surfaces, and using texture to create unique custom pieces for your clientele. You will leave this class with lots of unique samples and a detailed reference and sample notebook. Annie Omar instructs this fast paced one day workshop that focuses on the use of her unique and versatile line of Multi-Metallic Patterned Foils. Using various patterned and solid color foils, Annie will share her unique approach to combining pattern with pattern, her cutting edge techniques in layering foiled stenciling to create custom high end looks, and her super fast, super easy method of glazing, enhancing, and protecting foiled projects with Modern Masters top of the line products.
